We are confronted with doors every day. When it comes to life, there are doors that we consciously choose to open and close as well. And these doors can have serious repercussions or abundant rewards, depending on what we do with them.

Pastor Lindsey, I always enjoy your series. Your approach to sensitive topics is nothing short of creative. However, I do have a concern with regards to the stereotypical approach to relationships. It is my belief that in order to change the outcome of anything, you must first change your outlook. Therefore the "he's just being a man" and "she's just being a woman" theory cannot exist in the spiritual realm. God created each one of us as unique individuals. Similarities do exist within each gender ;however, we must celebrate the person and not their "sex". I'd like to hear you teach about changing our approach to relationships- mentally. We have to do more than just date with a purpose versus for recreation. Our minds must be in tune with Gods purpose for relationships, otherwise our actions and our words will conflict and confuse the partner to be. It's not just about choosing the "right person". It is about knowing who you are in Christ before you can even begin to accept anyone else into your life- knowing what Christ means to you affords you the opportunity to accept others at face value. Spiritual acceptance allows you to embrace life with the knowledge of
Gods daily guidance. This is important because it gives you the ability to relax within your choices. He is right there with you. You never have to wonder. You know. He knows and everything is already alright.
